LeanFish

the unique do-it-yourself WLT Fish Meal Makers

WLT Meal stands for Whole Low Temperature Meal and means that all solids are recovered from the raw material. All the water evaporates, except a fraction, which remains in the meal as the moisture content. Consequently; LeanFish direct fired fish meal plants discharge neither liquids nor solids to the environment, which makes them fully Environment-compatible.

LeanFish fish meal plants can be fired with combustible gas produced in Biomass Gasifiers from agricultural offal and residues. Apart from being more economical, plants fired with biomass gas produce cleaner and better meal.

LOC stands for Live Oil Content, meaning the amount of oil calculated as percentage of the animal's live weight. Extended with an Oil Extraction Package ...

... the standard LeanFish plant becomes a LeanFish Combi, capable of processing 'oily' raw material, with LOC more than 2,5%. 'Lean' raw material, with LOC less than 2,5%, can be fed directly to the LeanFish plant, without passing the Oil Extraction.

LeanFish fish meal plants can be fabricated in any properly equipped mechanical workshop; we provide a full set of drawings and specifications for the local fabrication, assembly and erection, and assist during commissioning of the plants. A locally fabricated plant costs less to build than one-third of the price for a conventional plant of equivalent capacity.

The price of fish meal no longer sustains depreciation of the investment in fish meal processing equipment of conventional design. Hence; the alternative to (too expensive) fish meal is:
