The plant is installed in an insulated 40 foot hi-cube ISO container and operates with refrigerant R717 (NH3, ammonia). The ice maker is of a conventional design, producing Plate Ice in thicknesses between 3 and 10 mm as desired. The ice is discharged from the side of the ice maker and drops into a storage bin below - another insulated 40 foot hi-cube ISO container - through a hole in the floor. The compressor (single stage, reciprocating) is primed with a diesel engine (Mercedes Benz, Cummins or equivalent) over a V-belt drive. The engine drives an alternator off the front end to generate power for all auxilliary motors in the plant, and for the lighting. Heat is rejected through a plate heat exchanger and a vertical induced draft cooling tower. For more details, contact us and download the leaflet.- eMail
